How are the fees calculated?

The total fee is a combination of two separate fees: the Valve Fee (5%) and a Game Fee (typically 10% for games like CS2, Dota 2, and Rust). Both fees are calculated from the listing price (what the buyer pays).

Why is there a minimum fee?

Steam applies a minimum charge of 0.01 units (e.g., $0.01, €0.01) for both the Valve Fee and the Game Fee. This means for very low-priced items, the total percentage taken can be higher than 15%. Our calculator accounts for this rule to ensure total accuracy in any currency.
